Hub 51 - Restaurant Chicago

Hub 51

51 W. Hubbard

312-828-0051

Owned by the sons of patriarch, Richard Melman (LEYE restaurants), R.J. and Jerrod continue the family tradition of uncomplicated food and attentive service. The urbane, industrial atmosphere, leveraged in wood, glass and steel is situated on the southwest corner of Hubbard and Dearborn.   True to its name, burger, sushi and Mexican food lovers  come to confluence at Hub 51. It’s the type of Chicago eatery that offers something extraordinary for just about everyone.

Dissecting the menu, there’s the two-handed, ground prime beef burger loaded with a cheesiness of your preference: Tillamook, blue, white cheddar or Swiss cheese accompanied by addictive hand-cut “Hub” fries. The “knife and fork open-faced BLT” is an appropriate depiction of toasted bread, drowning in tomatoes and oozing with—ever so slightly fatty crispy-fried bacon. Alternatively, there are other standouts like the:  Rainbow Roll (a sushi-rolled, concoction of salmon, tuna, yellowtail and crab) and the made to order filet mignon steak tacos.

A component of the Marriott Residence Hotel, steps  from the House of Blues and adjacent to Howl at the Moon, Hub 51 is voted a Chicago dining hotspot for its convenient location, great food and attentive service.

Hub 51 is situated on the corner of Hubbard and Dearborn
